Care Standards by Textile Type
Each weave and fiber blend has distinct chemical and physical washing requirements:

Pure China Silk Boski
6lb • 8lb • 10lb Mulberry Silk
- Washing: Professional Dry Clean strictly recommended for first 3 washes. Alternatively, hand wash in ice-cold water with mild silk shampoo.
- Shrinkage: Do NOT pre-shrink in water. Mulberry silk does not shrink like cotton.
- Drying: Roll in a clean dry towel to absorb moisture. Dry flat in full shade. Never expose to direct sun.
- Ironing: Medium-low steam iron while slightly damp on reverse side.

Executive Karandi & Khaddar
High-Twist Cotton & Heritage Weaves
- Pre-Shrinkage Soak: Mandatory 2 to 3 hour soak in cold water with 1 tbsp rock salt before handing to master tailor.
- Washing: Machine wash cold on gentle cycle with similar dark/neutral tones.
- Drying: Line dry in shade. Avoid tumble dryers to prevent heat deformation.
- Ironing: Hot steam iron when lightly damp for an immaculate executive crisp finish.

Supima Cotton & Latha
Air-Jet Mercerized Liquid-Finish Yarns
- Pre-Shrinkage: 4Loom liquid-mercerized cotton is pre-compacted at the mill (<1.5% shrinkage). 1 hour cold water soak recommended.
- Washing: Mild detergent. Never use chlorinated bleach on white or cream latha.
- Ironing: High heat with steam spray for sharp creases.
- Starch (Kalaf): Use light liquid starch if formal stiff drape is preferred.
